Is it me, or does it always feel like there’s a better way to do everything?
And it’s just out there, waiting. Waiting on Tik Tok, waiting on Life Hacks, waiting in your friend’s brain for you to ask…waiting.
I have started a new job, which is great, and that job has 8,347 tiny little tasks that need to be accomplished every single day. (I’m only barely exaggerating.) Which is fine. But I keep wondering:
Is there a better way to do this?

A better system?
A better process?
And if there is, how do I find it??
It feels like I’m wandering in the wilderness with a needle and a magnet, and a compass and topographical map are hidden somewhere behind the door of a sphinx who is going to ask me a riddle that I don’t understand.

(Like that riddle Samson tells his wedding bros in the Bible – can we all agree that’s not really even a riddle? It’s a weird autobiographical poem.)
So. Here’s my question: is this just another example of human desire for more? For better where good is enough?
Or is there really a better way out there? And if there is, how do I find it?
Because I’m starting to think I need to just calm down, focus on the moment, and do what’s working now.

What do you think?
