Book Launch Details

IT’S ALMOST HERE!

Y’all! It’s almost book launch time! I cannot wait for Friday. 

I’ve received a few questions, so I thought it might be helpful if I put all the details in one place for you. Aren’t I so thoughtful? I really am. 

Here are some details about the Violindy Launch:

THE OFFICIAL BOOK LAUNCH PARTY

My in-person book launch party will be at Frederick Douglass Park in Indy on October 25th, from 6-8 pm. You can expect snacks, beverages, fun people, decorations, and a short program at 6:30. 

You should also know that there will be prizes for the following categories:

• The person who brings the most guests (Decided by raise of hands)
• The person with the best outfit (Decided sujectively by me—will I choose the person in sweatpants or the person in the tuxedo? No one knows!)
• Ther person who asks the best question for the Q&A segment (Decided subjectively by your emcee for the night, none other than the illustrious Becky Fouard!)

Lord willing and the creek don’t rise, I will have copies of my book available there for you to purchase via Paypal, Venmo, or cash. I will happily sign anything you bring me, including books by other people, because why not?

OTHER IN-PERSON EVENTS

If you’re in Indy but not free that evening, you can find me at the following venues, signing books and chatting merrily:

• November 15th at 8th Day Distillery, from 6-9 pm
• November 23rd at Tomorrow Bookstore, from 11 am-1 pm
• December 7th at Indy Reads, from 2-4 pm

Come by and say hello! My little introverted heart would love to see a familiar face in a sea of strangers! (Okay, a “sea” might be a bit of a stretch. But the sentiment stands.)
